Lacuna launcher is a nice, simple, freeware that gets the job done. What I like is that you can make as many lists as you like and as many shortcuts that all point to the single executable on your hard drive. Although a GUI for this where users could drag and drop shortcuts would be nice, as it is the program is very easy to use and you will be up and running within minutes of downloading. Recommended.

One of the best timers I’ve seen for working dashes on your PC is a freeware download for Windows called Instant Boss.
I work on a schedule provided by the motivational timer Instant Boss, 8 minutes on 2 minutes off. It keeps my mind fresh, and allows me to take in new information before it expires. And, effectively, accomplish a solid 80% or more utilization (more often, it’s higher, since Instant Boss, much like my alarm clock, gets ignored for some intervals should I be in “the groove”).

Been using Lacuna Launcher for a few years and it’s great. I work part time at 3 different jobs and have a list created for each office. Run the appropriate command line first thing in the morning and all the programs/files I need for the day are loaded and ready to go.
