.Net Developer (Mid-level 2-3 yrs.) 

Minimum qualifications: (required) 
o       SharePoint 2003 Programming and Integration 
o       .Net 2003, C# or VB 
o       SQL Server 2000 Programming 
o       XML and Web Services Programming 
o       Good Communication Skills (Written and Verbal) 

Preferred Skills: 
o       .Net 2003, VB Preferred 
o       Heavy Documenter Type 
o       Focus on SQL Server Development with Supplemental \ Complimentary .Net Programming 
o       Focus on .Net Programming with Supplemental \ Complimentary SQL Server Development 
o       Understands difference between SharePoint Object model and SharePoint Web Services 

Following basic models already in place, you will be expected to develop a SQL Server database based on a template 
provided.  Then you must analyze requirements of the specific group you are hired into for changes to this model.  These 
changes will need to be developed into the overall solution based on the template.  Divergence from the template is allowed 
but the end result is to have like reporting between different groups, this implies the need for end to end understanding of 
changes you make as the results from the systems must be the same for reporting to upper management.  

The changes to the underlying data model must be mirrored in the user interfaces that are to be developed.  The interfaces 
will likely be designed within web parts or user controls that will be housed in a SharePoint portal.  There will be at least 
seven complex interfaces that will be tightly integrated between multiple sources\destinations, SharePoint, SQL Server, and 
other XML based reporting mechanisms within our systems of record.  This means you must have a good understanding of 
Web Application Development using .Net in either C# or VB, and you should have extensive knowledge of the SharePoint 
object model as well as web services exposed by SharePoint and other applications.

This is a total integration project between multiple sources, and its efforts are toward a long term solution.  The ability to 
document your work and communicate effectively is therefore essential.
